How often have you over reacted to a situation that you later regretted? How often have you said something in anger that you wish you could take back? Are you happy and at peace with yourself and with everything you say and experience? Do you like your life? Would you be friends with yourself?

What if I told you that absolutely everything that you experience is the great MIRROR of your life? It is the reflection of the SELF!  What you see, feel, sense and experience is your own divine creation. It is the divinely provided insight into the subconscious “you”; the “you” that you “believe” that you are. Do you like what you see, what you feel and what you experience? Or do you feel disconnected and feel that there has got to be a better way, a better life? If your answer is the latter, breathe deep, look into the MIRROR of your life and start listening!

Listen to what you say and to what you think. If you’re not happy with your life, your environment or your experiences, the only way to live the life you’ve always dreamed of is to start listening to yourself. That’s right, I said start listening to YOURSELF! For all of what you experience in life, whether it be your environment , your moods, your relationships or career, are a product of who you are, or rather who you “believe” yourself to be, and the only way to truly change this, is to get to know yourself all over again.

So make a date with yourself on a daily basis as a renewed commitment to SELF. Listen to what you say and listen to what you think. Learn all that you can about the “you” that presents itself to the world. Do you like what you hear? Do you like what comes out of you? Do you identify with it? If you find yourself thinking or saying something that you dislike, ask yourself why? What is it about you that makes you say or think something you dislike?

The first step towards true change and living a blessed life is getting to know yourself. The physical world that you experience is the SELF that you are projecting onto the world moment by moment, minute by minute, hour by hour, and day by day through your thoughts, words and deeds.  All that you physically experience in life is a direct result of who you “think” you are and what you “believe” to be true. These thoughts are continuously projected onto your world to create the reality that you experience. Do you like what you see? If you do not like what you see and and what you experience, then you do not like yourself. Go within, listen to yourself and examine your beliefs. If you always respond from a place of unconditional love in thought word and deed, then yours is truly a beautiful world to behold.
